LEDA KONDRATUK (nee BELTON) On Friday, October 27, 2006 at the Beausejour District Hospital, Leda Mona Kondratuk passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years. Leda is survived by her daughter Ann Henschel (Gordon), son Bruce Kondratuk (Beth), daughter Juanita Cousins (Jerry), sister Marylou Schmude as well as 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many, many friends. Leda was predeceased by her husband Steve in 2003, her son Leon in 1957, by her parents and by 8 brothers and sisters. She was born on July 27, 1915 in the Tupper District near Plumas. She married Steve on October 27, 1935 and resided over the years in many Manitoba towns, Tupper, Plumas, Gladstone, Seven Sisters Falls, Otter Falls Resort, Winnipeg, Harding and Beausejour. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. from Russell Funeral Home, Beausejour, Manitoba with Pastor Don Reimer officiating. Her cremated remains will be interred in the family plot at the Holy Ghost Cemetery on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in a private family service.
