BARBARA PATRICIA EVANS On Monday, October 30, 2006 at the Gimli Community Health Center, Pat Evans, aged 90 years, passed away after a short illness. Pat was predeceased by her husband Jim and is survived by her son Earle and daughter Michele (Brad). Pat was born in Winnipeg on June 8, 1916. She was very active with the Transcona Ladies Curling Club and was the treasurer of the club for several years. Pat and Jim enjoyed many years of retirement spending their winters in Arizona and Mexico and their summers at their home in Ponemah. In keeping with Pat's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Gimli Community Health Center for their wonderful care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.
