MARIE THERESE PETRIN (nee VINETTE) It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Marie Petrin on Sunday, October 29, 2006 at the Beacon Hill Lodge at the age of 81 years. Terry was born in Rainy River, ON June 10, 1925; her parents Philbert and Alma Vinette moved to St. Boniface, MB shortly after, with her brothers Claude, John, Edward and Joe. Terry worked at the T. Eaton's mail order for 15 years until she met the love of her life Tommy Petrin. They were married July 1965, and lived happily together until Terry's ALZHEIMER became too much for Tommy to take care of her at home. Tommy passed away with a broken heart on November 17, 1992. Terry was preceded in death by her parents and brothers. She leaves behind sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews in BC and MB. Terry will be lovingly remembered by her son Joseph and his wife Peggy. The family would like to extend a kind thank you to the staff at Beacon Hill Lodge for taking care of Mom for these many years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. A memorial service celebrating Terry's life will be held on Thursday, November 2 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. Interment will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
