BLANCA (GINA) MORA After a courageous battle with cancer it is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Blanca Gina Mora beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister on November 7, 2006. Gina leaves to cherish her memory her husband Fernando; sons, Carlos (Deepa), Daniel (Anna); grandchildren, Gabriel, Fernando and Julia; her parents Noemi and Carlos Ramos and sister Betty (Carlos Alberto), as well as mother-in-law Rosario and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Born in Ecuador, South America in 1947, Gina immigrated to Winnipeg with her husband and sons in 1989. Here she took on the challenges of learning a new language and starting a new life so her sons could pursue a better education. Her sons were her life and for anyone that knew her she could talk up a storm about them and all their accomplishments. Later in life, Gina was blessed with three beautiful grandchildren who stole her heart. Gina had impeccable taste and style throughout her life and always had to be presentable even to get out of bed. Witty and most of the time with mischievous humour would trick us into thinking about the double meaning of things. Generous to the point of obsession, taught us the meaning of sharing and giving selflessly and especially with the family, which meant everything to her. Mass will be held Friday, November 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Holy Rosary Parish, 510 River Ave. Memorial service will be on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. The family wishes to thank the staff of the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit and the staff at the Riverview Health Center for their care and compassion to our wife and mother, as well as to our extended family for their support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gina's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, ON1160 - 675 McDermot Ave., R3E 0V9. Dios te acoja en su seno Ginita, adios Madre Querida. Que Dios te bentiga.
