JACOB FUNK May 15, 1938 - November 16, 2006 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dearly beloved husband, father, and grandfather (OPA), Jacob Funk on November 16th, 2006 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers. Left behind to mourn his passing is Anni, his wife of 46 years; daughter Rose Unruh (Abe); son Randy; two grandchildren, Steven and Jennifer Unruh; two brothers, one sister, four sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law. The family would like to thank the staff of Bethania Personal Care Home for their care giving, especially over Jacob's last few days here on earth. Special thanks goes to Dr. Ray Martens for the care and advice given over the years. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Douglas Mennonite Church, 1517 Rothesay St. with interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
