MARCEL MARIN Suddenly at his residence on Saturday, December 16, 2006, Mr. Marcel Marin of Haywood, Manitoba passed away at the age of 65 years. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse bien-aimée Odile (née Bazin); six enfants, Gaëtan (Jolene), Louis (Pier Angeli), Sylvain (amie Cheryl), Alain (Rebecca), Ian (Catherine), Martin (Phyllis). Huit petits-enfants. Il laisse dans le deuil quatre frères, Gilles, Paul-Gaston, Mario, Judes. Trois soeurs, Lily, Carmen, Joanne, et de nombreux neveux, nièces, parenté et amis. Il fut précédé par ses parents Herméningilde et Marianne (Tremblay); trois frères, Bertrand, Laval, Jacques; une soeur Jeanne-Aimée et beau-frère Rhéal LeBlond. Marcel was a man of great faith. He was a devoted and loving husband to his wife Odile, of 38 years. Together they raised six wonderful sons. He was a member of the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus. He was the Postmaster at the Haywood Post Office for numerous years. Marcel was a very gifted and talented trades person whose handiwork was enjoyed by many. He will be forever loved by his family and community and will be missed greatly. We are especially grateful to the nurses and doctors who provided care for Marcel. We would also like to thank Adam's Funeral Home. Prayers will be held at Adam's Funeral Home on Thursday, December 21, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Haywood Roman Catholic Church on Friday, December 22, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. preceded by Recitation of the Rosary at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Roman Catholic Missions, c/o Father Rhéal Forest, Berens River, MB R0B 0A0 or to a charity of your choice.
