WILLIAM (BILL) MOONEY It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Mooney on December 25, 2006 at the age of 78 years. Bill was predeceased by his parents, his brother Jack and sister Wilma Lee. Left to cherish him memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Win (nee Beatty); children Patrick (Debbie), Michael (Dawn), Linda (Ken) and grandchildren Bill (Nadine), Michael, Ryan, Blair, Maureen and Holly. He is also survived by his brother Bob (Colleen), nephews, niece and other family members and friends. Bill was born on June 20, 1928 in Winnipeg. He spent most of his life in the Elmwood and East Kildonan areas and attended Lord Selkirk School. Bill's lifelong passion for the automotive industry was surpassed only by his love for his family and his wife Win who he married in 1949. Dad cherished his involvement with his children and grandchildren's lives. No matter what, he was always there. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the angels of Courage Bay at the River East Personal Care Home. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, December 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Flowers are gratefully declined.
