LESTER SAUL GONZALEZ With great heartache and tears we announce the death of Lester Saul Gonzalez Cardona born in Guatemala City, Guatemala on November 13 1987. He passed away on December 24 2006 in Winnipeg, MB. He is survived by his loving family, Mother Lilian Cardona, Brothers Juan Jose and Diego Antonio and loving aunt Ruth Cardona and family. Lester enjoyed playing many sports and had a particular passion for basketball and soccer. His nephews were the joy of his life. He took pride in his latino heritage. He will be missed be by all who were blessed to share in his life. Teammates will remember him as a great soccer player. Friends will remember him as ever loyal. By family, Lester will be remembered as the uncle who always had time for a play time,the nephew that always had a warm hug ready, the son that worked hard to support his family,the son who had endless love for his mother the brother who always had your back. With a smile on your face, the power to cheer others.with your confidence, make people believe, in your pain you found happiness, God knew your heart, and now mine is with you . Even so, we will always miss you Our son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, friend. Our love for you will never fade. Viewing will be held today December 29 between 7:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. at the Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue, with Pastors speaking every hour. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Church of the Rock, 1397 Buffalo Place. Family would like to thank families, friends and concerned citizens for their love, compassion and support. In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted at Voyage Funeral Home and Church of the Rock in care of the Gonzalez Family. Interment to follow at Thompson In The Park.
