IDA FENDER October 31, 1917 January 2, 2007 Ida Fender passed away peacefully at Bethesda Hospital at the age of 89. Ida is survived by children, Joyce Chornoboy of Sarto, Alvin (Adele) Fender of Steinbach, Joan (Art) Krentz of Chilliwack, BC, Beverley Fender of Steinbach; eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; two brothers, Rudolf and Arthur Krentz; two sisters, Mathilda Mehling and Elsie Biedler. She was predeceased by her loving husband Emanuel, January 19, 2006; her parents, Christof and Emile Krentz and a son-in-law Edward Chornoboy. Viewing will be held at Steinbach Funeral Home on Sunday, January 7, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held Monday, January 8, 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor Al Maier officiating and interment at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Hwy. 12.
