LAWRENCE SURES Lawrence Sures, a native Winnipegger, died December 29, 2006 at his home in Los Angeles California at age 79. He is survived by his wife Joy (also a native of Winnipeg); his three children, Jay, Ron, and Elyann Sures, and his sisters, Ruth Freed and Tabala Oreck. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Lawrence Sures to the Jonsson Cancer Centre Foundation at U.C.L.A., Box 951780, Factor Building, Room 8 - 950, Los Angeles, CA 90095-1780.
