IDA ALMA GAUVREAU December 8, 1922 - January 3, 2007 It is with mixed emotions of sadness and joy that we announce the passing of our Mom, Memere and Grandma. Sadness because we will miss her and joy because she is now in Heaven with Jesus and is reunited with her loving husband Alex who passed away almost 20 years ago. Paulette, her daughter was by her side as she drifted peacefully to her eternal rest. She is survived by three children and their spouses, Paulette Summers (Jim) of Grimsby, ON, Ray Gauvreau (Paulette) of Winnipeg and Paul Pinola-Gauvreau (Satu) also of Winnipeg. She also leaves five grandchildren, Shaun Lehman (Kelly), Raymond Gauvreau Jr., Robert Gauvreau (Tracey), Caitlin and Joshua as well as three great-grandchildren, Alyx, Kerry and KC Lehman. She was also predeceased by a granddaughter Tracey in 2000. A special thanks goes out to her good friend Teenie De Klerk of Winnipeg who accompanied her during numerous visits for cancer treatments. As per her wishes, there will be no formal service. However, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Children's Wish Foundation or the charity of your choice.
