Milne born December 2, 1915 passed away peacefully at the age of 91 at the Deer Lodge Centre, on Wednesday, January 10, 2007. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Eileen Milne (Crawford) of 60 years; son Douglas Milne (wife Janice), son Brent T. Milne (Keri). He will also be remembered by two granddaughters, Barb (Dan) and Jennifer (Brad); one grandson Richard and two great-grandsons, Marc and Eric. One sister Margaret Montsion and brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Harold will also be missed by the Milnes, Wardells, Parkers, Kerrs, Montsions, Crawfords, Sims, Watts and Johnstons. Dad was born and raised in Starbuck, Manitoba. Later in life he served in the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery as a lance bombardier in the Second World War. After the war, Dad married Mom and settled in Fort Rouge. He was employed with Building Products of Canada and retired as Roofing Mill Manager in 1980. Dad was a long time member of the Fort Rouge Seniors Curling League and the Fort Rouge Legion. Dad loved to play golf, curl and shoot pool well into his eighties. Dad always loved a good polka or party and loved to dance. Our family would like to thank the staff of Deer Lodge 4 - West for their care and comfort provided. In accordance with Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private service will be held.
