Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEX FERDINAND November 29, 1939 - January 15, 2007 Alex Ferdinand suddenly passed away after a short battle with cancer. Dad (Pop) was born in Pugwash, Nova Scotia, where he spent his younger years. Moved to Winnipeg in 1969, where he has resided until his death. Alex leaves to mourn his passing his daughters, Sandra, Wanda and Jo-anne; step-daughters, Kathy, Cindy, Colleen, Joyce and Jennifer. A memorial will be held to celebrate the life of Alex, Friday, January 19, 2007 at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at 1:00 p.m. KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 582-0973

The last time I saw Alex was in 1967. I was 9. I used to stop by Arthur Ferdinand's house, and Alex was there too. He was a really nice guy. He treated me very well. I live in Ontario. I have lived here since 1978. I am sorry that I was not able to keep in touch with the family. My step father is Donald Ferdinand. He spoke with Alex in 1999. He was very happy.
