AUDREY AGNES HART Peacefully on Monday, January 22, 2007 at the Seven Oaks Hospital with her loving son Michael at her side passed away. Audrey is survived by her son Michael Skyba and his extended family, sister and brother-in-law Roslyn and Ron Westman as well as Thelma and Martin Roider. She was a special aunt to nephews, Art, Scott and Glen; nieces, Norma, Donna and Diane; great-nephews, Matthew, Kevin, Ryan, Adam, Eric, Kyle and Karter; great-nieces, Dana, Krista, Natalie, Grace and Jillian. Audrey was predeceased by parents, Herb and Agnes Jennings and her sister and brother-in-law Evelyn and Art Horrox. Born in Winnipeg July 30, 1926 she attended school in West Kildonan. In her earlier years she was active with West Kildonan Legion Branch #35 where she curled and did ladies auxiliary work. Audrey worked for the Manitoba Telephone System as a systems analyst and after over 30 years there she retired and realized one of her dreams in 1982 by moving to Victoria, BC. She lived there for nine years and then in 1991 she returned home to be closer to her family and friends. Aud loved to watch her game shows, Perry Mason reruns, curling and tennis on TV while she knit afghans for her family and friends. Over the years she also knit many toques, scarves and sweaters for the Christmas Cheer Board. She enjoyed playing bingo at the church and really loved her trips to Arizona to visit Roslyn and Ron. She never could say no to a casino road trip and had many of them with Roslyn, special friend Barb Longstaffe and newest friend Ruth Krause. Another special treat for her was to babysit any of her four legged friends especially Jasper . A special Thank You to Diane for your kindness and compassion during Aud's final days. Cremation has taken place with a graveside service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society at 5 Kent Road, Winnipeg or a charity of one's own choice. FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS
