BALDEV SINGH It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Baldev Singh on January 25, 2007 at the age of 55 at the Victoria General Hospital. His three children, Narindar (Rhimpy), Zarina, and Baljinder (B.J.), will lovingly remember Baldev. His three sisters also survive him, Surinderpal, Baldev (Devo) and Baljit. His nephew Joshinder; brother Karmjit and his wife Filipina predeceased him. Baldev was born on November 17, 1951 and was only 22 years old when he moved to Canada from the Philippines. He was happily married for 30 years before his late wife Filipina passed away on January 30, 2006. God saw he was unhappy, so He put His arms around him and whispered, Come with Me. With tears in our eyes, we watched him fade away. Although we loved him deeply, we could not make him stay. A hard working man put to rest; God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. We love you yesterday, today, tomorrow, and forever! Lamay service will be held at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home and Cemetery on Saturday, February 3 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Funeral will take place on Sunday, February 4 at 2:30 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
