EVELYN CHOMIAK It is with heartfelt sorrow and grief for the Chomiak family to announce the passing of Evelyn Chomiak. Evelyn passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on the morning of January 31, 2007 at the Riverview Health Centre. Evelyn was born in 1932 in Winnipeg. She is survived by her three daughters, Leona, Anne, and Elaine and daughter-in-law Florence; her grandchildren, Janis and husband Adolph, Melissa, Trish, Michelle, Matthew and Michael; and her great-grandchildren, Cody, Riley and Taelyr. She was predeceased by her mother Mary and father Raymond; husband Leon, and son Joseph. Despite growing older as the years passed, she remained young at heart until the very end. She had a contagious sense of humour, an eagerness to try new things, and above all, she loved to laugh. She carried herself with a grace and dignity that will never be forgotten. Above all, family was the most important to Evelyn, and her love for them was endless. She was many things to her family: advisor, confidant, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed and always loved. The family wishes to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre and Dr. Bertsch. Although she touched the lives of many, the family is requesting a private graveside ceremony. BARDAL FUNERAL HOME 843 Sherbrook Street, 774-7474 Condolences: www.bardal.ca
