SHAWN MICHAEL MARTIN-LUCAS (LAUDER) January 20, 1993 - January 29, 2007 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Shawn after 14 short years. Shawn leaves to morn his parents, Chuck and Pauline Lauder; brother Charlie (wife Anna, niece Eve, nephew Cameron); sister Hollie; brother James; grandmother Annie Thiessen, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and all those whose lives he touched. Shawn was a loving and caring son with a passion for life, fun and adventure. We felt blessed to have had him in our lives for 14 years. Shawn will be greatly missed but will never be forgotten. Wake service will be held on Sunday, February 4 from 6:00 pm. to 12:00 midnight in the chapel of Prairieland Aboriginal Funeral Home, 1020 Main St. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 5 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Prairieland Aboriginal Funeral Home with Pastor James Heibert officiating. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. A memorial celebration of Shawn's life will be held on Thursday, February 8 at 2:00 p.m., Grant Memorial Baptist Church, 877 Wilkes Ave. Prairieland Aboriginal Funeral Home in care of arrangements, 226-7581.
