Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMILY ELSIE FIDLER Peacefully, on Saturday, February 3, 2007, Emily, age 86 years, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital with her family at her side. Emily was predeceased by her husband Henry in 2005, and her five siblings, Arnold, Edna, Ted, Art and Gladys. She was the last sibling to survive. Emily is survived by her three children, Mel (Lorna), Marlene (Fred) and Larry; grandchildren, Alan, Deanna, Andrew, Debbie (Lindsay), Bryan (Rhonda) and Jill (Doug); great-grandchildren, Cody, Hailee, Scott and Michael. Emily was born in Ridgeville, Manitoba and worked at the General Store. Henry and Emily owned their own restaurant, the Lipton Lunch. She finished her career retiring from the Hudson's Bay Company. She was a very outgoing, strong individual. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting baby outfits and crocheting afghans. The family would like to thank the staff of M.I.C.U., B5, E6 and the Palliative Care Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital. A special thanks to Dr. F. Siddiqui and Dr. M. Garcia. Funeral service 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 7 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mood Disorder of Manitoba or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
