CAROL GREEN The angels came for Carol Green on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Grace Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ray Green, son Raymond (Linda), and daughter Tracey. Nana will be especially missed by her grandchildren, Summer and Carbon. She will also be deeply missed by her sister Frances, as well as her other siblings, many special in-laws, nieces and nephews, and numerous friends. Carol was born in Winnipeg on November 13, 1940. Once her children were in school, she began working for the Assiniboine South School Division. She worked for numerous years as a secretary at Westdale Junior High, later moving to the school board office where she remained until her retirement. Her years in the school division gave her great enjoyment through the many friends, numerous teachers and students she worked with. Carol was a devoted wife, mom and nana. Her family's well-being was always foremost in her mind and they continued to be her priority until her passing. The family would especially like to thank Bernice Downey, as well as home care for all their assistance and all the staff of the 5th floor Grace Hospital for their care and compassion. With respect to Carol's wishes, cremation has already taken place and a memorial service will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Donations in lieu of flowers may be to a charity of choice.
