Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTIMOTHY PATRICK HOMENIUK After a valiant fight and with family at his side, Timothy Patrick Homeniuk, aged 51 years, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2007. Mourning his passing and cherishing his memory are his mother, Patricia Homeniuk; brother, sister and sister-in-law Robert and Dorothy Homeniuk, Linda Brekelmans and Steven Homeniuk; cousins, nephew, nieces, great-nephew, and great-nieces. He was predeceased by his father, Nicholas Homeniuk. Tim was a lifetime resident of Winnipeg and worked as a heavy-duty mechanic for City of Winnipeg Transit since 1984. He loved the out of doors including camping, hiking, skiing, gardening, home maintenance and auto mechanics. He was a generous and caring son, brother, uncle and great uncle. Despite what life threw at him, he was determined to succeed and overcame these challenges. The family wishes to thank all the staff on GA5and ICU at Health Science Centre, particularly the nurses, Dr. N. Berrington and the medical team for over seven months of compassionate care. Also thanks to everyone for their prayers. After a private interment, a Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, February 22 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, 730 McPhillips St. with The Rev. Rod Sprange officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tim's memory to the Manitoba Brain Injury Association or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
