She was lucid and engaging - as always, even on this last full day of her life, a pleasure to talk to. She came to Winnipeg in January, 1925 to marry William Kleiman, whom she had known earlier while they were growing up together in Balta - a small town near Odessa. She was predeceased by her husband in 1984, her eldest son Martin, in 2001 and her daughter Carol Miriam, in 2005. She is survived by her younger son Ed and his wife Carol, as well as by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral service at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, February 25 at the Chesed Shel Emes Chapel.
