SIGFRIED MAURMANN It is with profound regret and sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father Siegfried (Sig) Helmut Paul Maurmann. Sig passed away peacefully in Kelowna, British Columbia, attended by his wife Christel and daughters Katja and Sigrid. Sig was born in Heiligenhaus, Germany, December 16, 1928. He immigrated to Canada with his wife and son in 1957, settling in Winnipeg. Sig held a variety of positions culminating his career as a successful entrepreneur in the international arena which enabled him to retire to Kelowna at an early age and enjoy the fruits of his labour. Sig is also survived by his sons, Peter and Michael; and grandchildren, Natasha, Kristen, Tyler and Alexander. Sig will be remembered by his family and friends for his guidance, opinions and words of wisdom.
