MINNIE SUROWICH (nee BUKOSKI) Mrs. Minnie Surowich, aged 81 years, of Beausejour, MB, dearly beloved wife of Lawrence, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2007, at East Gate Lodge. She is survived by her husband Lawrence; son David (Sherri); daughter Marie (Gordon Goritz); grandchildren, Christie and Zachray; brothers, Edward, John and Cashmere; and sister Kay; also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Junie; brothers, Joe, Alfred, Ted and Stanley; sisters, Pauline and Jean; and her parents Stanley and Caroline Bukoski. Minnie was born in the Sebright District. She and Lawrence were married in 1952. They farmed in the Brokenhead area, moving to Tyndall in 1980 and enjoyed their retirement. Mom enjoyed her gardening and spending time with family and friends. A memorial service will be celebrated on Friday, March 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour, with Rev. Fr. David Brabant presiding. Pallbearers will be all those in attendance.
