SIDNEY SHAVERS Sidney Shavers (born Brandon 1925) passed away March 13, 2007 in Winnipeg, following a short illness. He is survived by Perle, his wife of 56 years; sons, Steven and Bruce, and daughter Shelley, as well as son-in-law Roy and daughters-in-law, Heather and Dianna. Loved by his sisters, Edith Porter and Gladys Kimelman as well as grandchildren, Amber, Layah, Julian, Emily, Avalon and Levi. Burial took place at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery in Winnipeg and services were conducted by Cantor Gerrald Daien. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brandon Rotary Club or Cancer Care Manitoba.
