WANDA SARGENT Wanda Sargent was born in Germany on November 17, 1935, and died in Winnipeg, MB, on March 12, 2007. After a difficult battle with cancer, Wanda entered into her eternal home in peace, forever free of pain. She will be remembered by her friends for her very independent spirit, yet was always ready to help her neighbours in any way she could. Among her friends were those who shared her love of pets, and she took great delight in her own doggies, first Murphy and then Monty, who both predeceased her. Special thanks to her friends who rallied round her during her months in hospital; also, her Angels of Mercy at Victoria Hospital - doctors, nurses and all the staff on 5 North, helping her endure her pain and caring for her so faithfully. Thank you also to her friend and neighbour, Ray, for her thoughtfulness during Wanda's illness. Following Wanda's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Wanda's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, or a charity of their choice. Wandie, we miss you already. -Bernice Bartel and her family.
