ANNA GREISS July 20, 1948 March 20, 2007 Suddenly on March 20, 2007, family and friends were forced to say goodbye to a dear mother, devoted daughter and faithful wife. As the first rays of sunlight streaked the morning sky, the time came for Anna to leave us. Anna goes to join her daughter Anita, and leaves to mourn her husband of 42 years, Art; mother Maria; daughter Barb; son Arthur and his wife Monique; daughter Angel and her husband Marc and their sons, Alix and Samuel; and numerous family members in Poland and Germany. We will miss Anna's confident ways, innovative ideas, and jolly laughter. She was always there whenever we needed her, always ready and willing to help. We do not know why God chose to take Anna from us that day, but we must always continue to remember her in our hearts and with those memories that make us smile. We miss and love you, mom. Prayers will be held on Sunday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 26 at 1:30 p.m. at Kilcona Park Alliance Church, 1977 Norris Ave., N. Kildonan, with Pastor Bruce Adams officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Cropo Funeral Chapel 586-8044
