RAY LEWIS MARTIN Peacefully, on Saturday, March 24, 2007, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Ray died at the age of 68 years after a seven-year battle with cancer and kidney failure with his wife and son by his side. Remaining to forever cherish Ray's memory are his wife Audrey; son Bill; brother Jack and family; sister Judy and her family; father-in-law Walter Ames and extended family members. In compliance with Ray's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Friends may pay their respects on their own time. The family wishes to thank all the health care teams who cared for Ray over the years. For those who wish, donations may be made in Ray's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 0V9, or the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba, 730 Taylor Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3M 2K8.
