FRANK KOSTECKI June 22, 1922 April 6, 2007 With deep regret we announce the peaceful passing of Frank on Friday, April 6, 2007 at the age of 84 years. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Stefan and Petronela; his four brothers, Karol, Michael, Alfred, Stefan and his sister Elzbieta. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Antonia; his brother Jan and sister Josefa. He will be missed by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews in Poland, Ukraine, Germany and USA; and a very special friend Natalina. Frank was born in Slobodka, Poland and came to Canada in 1953. He worked for the Greater Winnipeg Gas Company for 30 years, retiring in 1987. He had many friends and all those who shared in his life can consider themselves as honourary pallbearers. A heart of gold stopped beating, Hard working hands went to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Leaves and flowers may wither The golden sun may set, But the hearts what loved you dearly Are the ones that won't forget. Rest in peace dear Franek! Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue with an Oblate Father as Celebrant. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's memory to a charity of your choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
