DARRELL POURIER It is with sadness the family of Melvin Darrell Pourier announce his untimely passing on April 3, 2007. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his parents, Evelyn and Gord Pourier, sisters, Trina Tigg (Bruce) and family, Jacqui Foraie (Darwin) and family, Terri Ziskind (Jack) and family, brothers, Michael and family, Corey Pourier. Also close friend Cyndy Shaw and his children, Dylan and Brittany Pourier of Geraldton, Ontario. Born October 28, 1954 Darrell was raised and attended school in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. He lived for many years in Edmonton and NW Ontario before returning to settle in Winnipeg where he worked in sales and marketing. Darrell had many interests and abilities. He loved spending time outdoors camping, hunting and fishing, also classic cars and sprint car racing, music and computers. He was a fun loving and easy going person, meeting and making many friends over the years. He will be greatly missed by his nephews, Scott, Josh and Tyler Tigg, who loved spending time with their Uncle Shiny. As per Darrell's wishes no funeral service will be held. Cremation has taken place and interment at a later date.
