MARCELINA ESPIRITU May 3, 1928 April 13, 2007 Suddenly on Friday, April 13, Marcelina died peacefully at the age of 78 with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren at her bedside. She leaves to mourn her husband of 65 years Emilio Espiritu, her three children in the Philippines, eight children here in Winnipeg, 28 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Marcelina was born and raised in Ilocos Norte and was the second oldest of seven children. She moved to Winnipeg in March of 1991 with her husband. She enjoyed travelling between Canada and the Philippines so she could be active in raising her many grand-children and great-grandchildren. She loved going camping with her family; her presence will be sadly missed. Viewing will take place at Knysh Funeral Home on Monday April 16, 2007 from 6:00 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Burrin.
