• I’m so sorry to learn that my uncle Ray has passed at the age of almost 81. I’ll always remember my uncle with only the fondest of memories, especially when he’d come to spend Christmases with our family in frozen Regina, Sk. I’ll always thank my uncle not only for being my mother’s sole support system for years, but also for ensuring I’d never be afraid of the dentist’s chair. Before his illness, my uncle was a gifted dentist graduating with excellent marks from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry. He was also, according to my mother, an excellent mechanic with a brilliant mind. I tried searching for him back before the internet became a staple but was unsuccessful in finding him. I will never forget the love he showered on me while he was well. I truly hope that he is able to finally meet up with my mother again, who pre-deceased him in 1987. Rip uncle Ray.
