Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVERLA MAE REED (nee ALLAN) Peacefully on Sunday, April 29, 2007, at the Portage District General Hospital, Verla Mae Reed of Portage, formerly of Langruth, MB, beloved wife of Gordon Reed passed away at the age of 70 years. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home, Portage la Prairie, on Friday, May 4, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. with Phyllis Thordarson officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Predeceased by her parents, she leaves to mourn her passing her husband Gordon; her son Brent (Angie) of Selkirk, granddaughter Nicole (Patrick), great-grandchildren, Lauren and Matthew, granddaughter Cheryl (Rylan); her son Wayne (Mossan) of Medicine Hat, AB, granddaughter Vicki (Chris), great-grand-children, Connor, Erin, grandchildren, Andrea, Jackie (Sean) and Alana. Also surviving is one sister Myrna Love of Brandon and several nieces and nephews and extended family.
