Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWAYNE JOSEPH STEM Suddenly, on April 25, 2007, Wayne passed away to be reunited with his parents, John and Stella. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his sisters, Cindy and Lynne; brother Tim (Bev, Jordan, Lee) as well as many relatives in Canada and the United States. While pursuing his education Wayne also assumed guardianship of his siblings. He achieved his RIA / CMA designation. Wayne's gifted accounting skills led to a successful career that allowed him to enjoy an early retirement. He also ensured his parent's wishes of university education for all their children became a reality. Due to Wayne's encouragement and support all of his siblings have graduated with multiple university degrees. Wayne loved being outside, spending countless hours in the garden or planting beautiful trees. Hockey, baseball, golfing, curling, snowmobiling, barbecuing were just some of his many passions in life. Wayne also coached many East St. Paul sports teams. He was proud of his teams and their accomplishments. For the past 25 years his winters were made especially happy by being at Walt Disney World in the Florida sun. Mickey will miss you. Wayne will be remembered for his kindness, warm and friendly manner, sense of humour, quick wit and gift for friendship. Highly competent and keenly intelligent Wayne was also modest and low-key. He was a pillar of strength for all those in his life. In accordance with Wayne's wishes, a private family service has taken place followed by cremation. If you knew Wayne and wish to honour his memory please plant a tree. Our memory box is overflowing with happy times because of you.
