BEVERLEY ANN JACOBSEN (nee RITCHIE) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bev on May 10, 2007 at the Riverview Health Centre. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Don and son Chris. She also leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Blanche, brothers; Don (Joyce), Harvey (Carlew), Tom (Anita), Bruce (Laurie), Peter and sister-in-law Sherri Ritchie, brother-in-law Hal (Thelma) Jacobsen, Joyce (Don) Lehrer, Linda (Tom) McKee and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her father Earl in 1978 and her brother Terry in 2004. Bev was born in Minnedosa on January 13, 1941. She attended school in Minnedosa and then worked at Stevens Drugstore prior to marrying Don Jacobsen of McCreary, MB on November 2, 1962. Bev was a kind and giving person, always there to help family and friends. Her family was her life and their happiness was also hers. Don and Chris would like to thank; Dr. P. Czaykowski, Denise, Christy and the nurses of CancerCare Manitoba. A special thank you to: Chris Carlyle of Palliative Care for her support, Dr. M. Keenan and Caroline of Riverview Health Centre; and her big brother Don and his wife Joyce for their help, visits and being there for them. A memorial service will be held at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue (Aubrey Street entrance) on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with final resting at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
