KRYSTYNE BARBARA HARRISON April 18, 1957 May 13, 2007 After a long and courageous battle against cancer, Krystyne peacefully passed away on Sunday at the Riverview Health Care Centre. Krystyne will be very sadly missed by her loving husband Keith; son Jushua and daughter Shaena; her mother Edeltrout (Trudy) Giesbrecht; sisters, Ludwika Mikolash and Irene Kostuck (Bill). Her memory will be forever cherished by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and so many special friends. Krystyne was born in Poland and arrived in Winnipeg on June 24, 1959 with her parents. She was employed at Kraus McMahon for over 10 years. The company, all her co-workers and friends were there for her over the past few years. Krystyne was adventurous, brave and very determined. Her joy was fishing at the lake with her friends by her side. The brave side of Krystyne even took a leap out of a plane. Her love of the outdoors had her golfing and playing baseball. Krystyne enjoyed even the simplest pleasures, like catching up on a weeks worth of The Young and Restless and watching her son play hockey. Special thanks to her Doctor and Staff at Riverview Health Care Centre, who made her life more comfortable. Special thanks also to Linda and Dorothy for going above and beyond. A celebration of Krystyne's life will be held on Friday, May 18 at 3:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. If friends so desire donations in Krystyne's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
