Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHARINE ELIZABETH RIEHL Peacefully on May 21, 2007, at Poseidon Care Centre, Katharine Riehl, beloved sister of Lily Riehl, passed away at the age of 97 years. She was predeceased by her mother Tena, father Philip, sister Edna McLeod and niece Christine McLeod. Katharine was a member of the Manitoba Registered Music Teachers' Association and had been teaching piano lessons since her teen years. The children loved her for her kindness and understanding. She was an accompanist for singers and those who played different instruments. Katharine was also an accompanist for The Gallic Society for 35 years and was a former member of St. Andrew's River Heights United Church choir. Interment has taken place at Brookside Cemetery. A memorial service will be held for Katharine on Thursday, May 31, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. at Poseidon Care Centre, 70 Poseidon Bay, Winnipeg, MB.
