MATTHEW DORIAN DOHERTY Suddenly, on the morning of June 2, 2007, at the age of 27, Matthew Doherty, our cherished son and brother, passed away at Victoria Hospital. Deeply missed by his parents, Debbie and Rick Doherty, and his younger brothers, Richard (Kerri) and Ian. He also leaves to mourn his passing, his grandparents, Alf and Betty Leite, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, his extended family of caregivers at St. Amant Centre and the many others he has touched with his life. Although early childhood Meningitis left him with developmental delays, he still retained a humour, a smile and a laugh that made all those around him feel that life is to be enjoyed every minute, whatever your limitations. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the caring staff at St. Amant, for their devotion to our son. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the St. Amant Recreation Fund. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
