VIOLET (PAT) GOW Violet Patricia (Pat) Gow passed away peacefully at Middlechurch Personal Care Home on Friday, June 8, 2007, at the age of 74. Pat was a loving wife to Herbert (Blake) for 30 years until his passing in January 2004. She was a proud mother to Donna (Don), Debbie, Doug (Denise), Dave (Donna) and Dorrie; and also to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Jack and Sally Mallon, and she also leaves to mourn her sister Marguerite Grantham; niece Tracey Grantham (Alastair Porteous); Aunt Anne; and numerous cousins and friends. A loving wife, friend, caring and selfless soul, accepting and positive spirit - these are but a few words to describe Pat who touched so many lives and was loved by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Pat had a love for music, dancing and reminiscing about friendships that were so dear to her. Rest in peace, Pat, as you will be greatly missed. Thanks are extended to all the staff of Middlechurch Home where Pat was gracious to receive their loving, devoted care. She truly loved you all. A special thank you to all who visited Pat, and whose support and unwavering friendship was much appreciated by our family. We thank our brother Doug Gow who had an endless devotion to Pat's needs. A wish of hers was never too great a task for him. A service will be conducted at Middlechurch Personal Care Home in the Recreation centre at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 14. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, 280 Balderstone Road, West St. Paul, Manitoba.
