Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHANDNI (SANDRA) SURUJLALL October 27, 1956 - June 10, 2007 It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and jevan saathi who peacefully passed away on June 10, 2007, at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was the daughter of Hardeo Bhupaul, eldest sister to Sarojni, Padmini, Ganesh, Deoraj, Shastri and Anan. Sandra was married to Jai Surujlall for the past 32 years. They have two daughters, Rachael and Sabrina. Sandra has one grandchild, Talia. Sandra was the mother-in-law to Norman Sugden, daughter-in-law of Dhan Surujlall. She was predeceased by her mother Jasoda Bhupaul. Sandra was born in Better Hope, Guyana, South America. Sandra immigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba, with her husband in 1975. Sandra attended Red River Community College in which she earned her diploma in quality control. Sandra was employed at Reliance Products for 26 years, first as a machine operator, then moving to the quality control department. Sandra had a strong passion for Indian music and songs and sang them to her children throughout the years. Sandra enjoyed spending quality time with her friends and family. Sandra cared dearly for everyone close to her, especially her nieces, nephews and granddaughter. Her heart of gold was felt by everyone who knew her. Funeral services for Sandra are being arranged by Bernardo Funeral Home in Toronto, Ontario, on Saturday, June 16. Our family would like to thank CancerCare Manitoba and the Pain Management facility at St. Boniface General Hospital. Special thanks to the Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. Donations can be made in Sandra's honour to CancerCare Manitoba.
