GABRIEL DA COSTA MEDEIROS CHANGE IN TIME OF SERVICE Peacefully on Saturday, June 16, 2007 Gabriel Medeiros passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 91. Gabriel leaves to mourn his eight daughters, Zenaida, Dolores (Joao Barbosa), Adriana (Jose Claudino), Conceicao (Manuel Benevides), and Lucia (Lionel Medeiros) of Portugal, Aldora (Humberto), Natalia (Carlos), and Maria Valdomira (Steve), son Mario Jorge (Natividade); 35 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife Luisa Lima Medeiros. Gabriel was born in Sao Miguel, Acores and worked in farming and at a sugar cane factory, He also worked in a super market making deliveries. He immigrated to Canada in 1968 and worked for CN Railway and Versatile. After Retirement he still wanted to work with people and got a job at the Winnipeg International Airport in the Janitorial Services. We would like to thank the Staff at St. Boniface Hospital. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, June 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. North. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church on Thursday, June 21 at 10:00 a.m. with The Rev. Fr. José Eduardo Medeiros, V. F. officiating.
