LYLE CUNLIFFE ARMSTRONG June 17, 1927 - June 25, 2007 It is with love and sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear Dad and Grampa at Deer Lodge Centre. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Linda Armstrong and Lori Timm, and his dear grandsons, Kyle, Paul and Ryan Timm as well as many relatives and friends. Our Dad was predeceased by our Mom, his loving wife Muriel in June 1995, and by his son-in-law Rick Timm in March 2007. Dad's easy going personality made him a friend to everyone he met. He has remained close with past co-workers since he retired from H. J. Heinz Co. in 1983 and has enjoyed many friendships through his membership at Royal Canadian Legion #81. Dad was a loving and devoted husband, father and grampa. Spending time with his family is what he cherished most in life. Special recognition is extended to the homecare workers and staff at Concordia Hospital and Deer Lodge Centre for their understanding and thoughtful care over the past several years as Dad struggled with dementia. Cremation has taken place and Dad will be laid to rest beside Mom at a private family interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your charity of choice.
