Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT EDWARD LANGTRY Robert Edward Langtry, beloved husband of Inez Bernice Helen (Carroll) Langtry. Loving father of Randy, Carroll and Kathleen. Grandfather to Robert, Chris and Dannielle. Peacefully passed away on June 24, 2007, at the age of 81. Robert was born in Carman, Manitoba. He farmed in the Homewood area until 1968. During that time he was President of the Manitoba Flying Farmers and a co-founder of the Dufferin Credit Union and various other organizations. Robert moved to Calgary where he worked with the Calgary Transit. He moved to Victoria in 1974 where he retired from the Victoria Transit. Robert and Inez retired to Winnipeg and then moved to Calgary where he spent his remaining years. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca A celebration of Robert's life will be held at Pierson's Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 - 17 Avenue SE, Calgary, on Saturday, June 30, 2007, at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Carman Memorial Hospital, Carman, Manitoba, R0G 0J0.
