DEBORAH EVANS (nee COCHRANE) A year ago today I lost my sister, my best friend. God made a sister so loving and kind, And I had the honor of calling her mine. Whoever said sorrow can heal in time, Could never have had a sister like mine. The hole in my heart, the pain that I feel, Words can’t define how I feel without you here. I often lie awake at night when the world is fast asleep, And take a walk down memory lane, with tears upon my cheeks. It’s a great comfort to know that you are with your three men, three angels, Gary, Dad and Alton. Our memories are my keepsake, I’ll cherish them forever in my heart. Your loving sister, Monica.
