Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA CONCEICAO RODRIGUES SOUSA It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Maria ConceiƧao Rodrigues Sousa on July 4, 2007 at the age of 75. She leaves to cherish in her memory her beloved husband of 55 years, Aurelio; her children, Aurelio Jr., Ivo (Aida), Oldemira, Frank (Rosa) and Leda (Arthur), and grandchildren, Chris, Frank, Lisa, Mark, Daniel and Matthew. She also leaves behind one brother, two sisters and several nieces and nephews in Toronto. Maria will also be sadly missed by her special friend Brisida DaCosta and her special niece Teresa Dias. Maria was born in Terceira, Portugal on January 19, 1932. In 1951 Maria married the love of her life, Aurelio. Together in 1971 they immigrated to Winnipeg with their children. Although she developed health issues at an early age, she managed to raise her five kids with lots of love and dedication. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she adored so dearly. She will forever be in our hearts. The family would like to thank the paramedics for their effort. Prayers will be held on Monday, July 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano as Celebrant. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

Dear Maria Sousa May you enjoy the friendship once more with your dear friend Brisida DaCosta for our loss is your gain. She spoke highly of you many times during our wonderful times spent. I remember you when I resided in Winnipeg and spoke to you on the telephone or when I passed your house during my visits to my Aunts place. I want you to know how happy my heart felt when I felt the love from your precious daughter Leda and her wonderful husband Arthur Campos when he was proud of being one of her pall bearers whom carried my precious mother to her resting place.Thank you for raising your family with the kindness and respect they in return have shown others and people they care for. Please keep happy with your loved ones whom are already in heaven with you. My beautiful mom and dad will enjoy your company for good people and friends find each other in the end. God bless your kindness and being a true friend to my mom.
