CRYSTAL LAYNE KOHLER February 21, 1986 - July 8, 2006 In loving memory of our dear daughter and sister We did not know that morning, What sorrow the day would bring, The bitter grief and shock severe, To part with one we loved so dear. No chance to bid one last farewell, Or even say good-bye, You were gone before we knew it, And only God knows why. It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. Although your hand we cannot touch, Or see your smile now, We think of you each passing day, And hold you close within our hearts. We pray the Lord will keep you, In His most tender care, And let you know how much we love you, From the bottom of our hearts. If tears would build a staircase, And heartaches make a lane, We’d walk the path to Heaven, And bring you home again.
