WILLIAM LEWIS FOLEY William Lewis Foley, 90, was born in Ponteix Saskatchewan, January 20, 1917 passed away peacefully on July 5, 2007 in White Rock BC. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Susan Foley-Currie; granddaughter Katie (Cam); great-grandson, Andrew William; sisters, Edith, Edna, Grace, Laura, Myrtle, many nieces and nephews, good friends and neighbours. Red or Bill was a telegraphist with the Royal Canadian Navy. He spent many years in the building supply business and was the founder of TIM-BR-Marts. This was followed by a career in land appraisal. He then owned the Foley Music Supply and was a member of the BC Violin Makers association. Bill was an active brother and musician in Winnipeg and White Rock (Joppa Lodge, Peace Arch Shrine, Gizeh Temple Oriental Band) and assisted with the Order of the Eastern Star. He has now joined his beloved wife Kathleen. Many thanks to caring visitors and the staff of the Peace Arch Hospital Weatherby 2 and especially to Dr. Joshi. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Peace Arch Shrine or the BC Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mark's Anglican Church, 12953 20th Ave. (Ocean Park).
