SIMONE SOUBRY (nee SOENEN) Simone Soubry (Sue) passed away peacefully at Tache Centre on July 11, 2007 in her 97th year. She was predeceased by her husband Victor Soubry; her son Garry Soubry; her brothers, Leo and Bill Soenen; her sister Flore Samyn and her parents, Constant and Sidonie Soenen. Simone was born in Wevelgem, West Vlaanderen, Belgium on May 13, 1910. Simone resided the rest of her life in St. Boniface. She was an active member of the Holy Cross and St. Thomas Moore Church. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Simone will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 11:00 am. at the Holy Cross Catholic Church at the corner of Enfield and Dubuc Streets in St. Boniface. A reception will follow at the Holy Cross Hall. Burial Service for Simone will be at the Belgian Cemetery immediately following the reception. The family thanks the staff of Tache Centre fifth floor for the excellent care Simone received over the last years. Flowers gratefully declined.
