Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPHYLLIS GRACE ROBERTS (HILL) (nee WOOD) Phyllis passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2007, at Victoria Hospital. She was predeceased by her first husband Joe Hill in November 1966 and her husband Roy Roberts in 2000. She is survived by sons Darle Hill (Val) and Randy Hill (Rae), sisters Shirley and Darlene, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was born in Sinclair, Manitoba, in 1923. She married Joe during the Second World War and the family spent most of the years abroad during Joe's RCAF years. After Joe's passing Phyllis was fortunate to spend several happy years with Roy which included lots of travel. . . her favourite pastime. She loved sports and enjoyed watching curling, baseball and cheering the Bombers and Goldeyes. Her favourite outings included going to the horse races and Goldeyes games; special thanks to nephew Garth for the Goldeyes games. In accordance with Phyllis' wishes immediate cremation has taken place with a private family interment pending. No flowers are necessary. If friends desire they may donate to the Winnipeg Humane Society. The family thanks the WFPS, Victoria Hospital staff, and the many friends at 133/135 Niakwa who made Phyllis' life happy and helped ease the burden of her passing. neil bardal inc 949-2200 www.nbardal.mb.ca
