ALLAN GOLDSWORTHY 1917-2007 It is with deepest sorrow that the family announces the passing of Allan Goldsworthy, on July 21, 2007 at Kin Place Personal Care Home, Oakbank, Manitoba. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 65 years Selina, son Calvin (May), daughter Margaret Critchley (Dick) both of Winnipeg, son Sterling (Doreen) and daughter Ruby Locke (Keith) both of Moncton, NB, son-in-law Tim Koehler of Winnipeg. Allan was predeceased by his youngest daughter Doreen Koehler in 2005. May they now be together forever. He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Sherry, Lisa, Donna Lee, Kevin, Keri, Kimberley, Melissa, Allan, Bradley, Mark, Michael; six great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends. Allan was born in Trinity East, Newfoundland, lived in Gander and Moncton. On retirement he moved back to his precious Trinity East. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 26 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherines Anglican Church, 3202 Bird's Hill Rd., Bird's Hill, MB. Following a reception at the church, interment will take place at Transcona Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St., Winnipeg. The family extends sincere thanks to Dr. Bruce Kowaluk and the staff of Kin Place Personal Care Home for the love and care given to Dad and the continued loving care of their mother, Selina. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Cancer Care Manitoba in hope that someday a cure may be found for the disease that took his youngest daughter, Doreen.
