LEO GUNTHER On July 22, 2007 at Concordia Hospital, Leo Gunther, beloved husband of Clara died at the age of 81 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Anna Gutowski and Erna (Joe) Sagert and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Leo was born in Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1948. Prior to retirement, Leo worked for the town of Swan River, after which he worked for Temro in Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 27, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at McDermot Avenue Baptist Church, 821 McDermot Avenue. Interment in Brookside Cemetery. Viewing at the church prior to the service. Clara thanks the Home Care and Concordia Hospital staff for their care and compassion In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McDermot Avenue Baptist Church in Leo's memory.
